[UP1]Listen to Ms.Burt's story

  I think that Ms. Burtz's initiatives of regional revitalization were wonderful. I didn't know that reuse and revive the ancient road can lead to regional revitalization. I surprised at maintaining road for trail runnning can contribute to junior high school students to learrn biodivercity. And then, I think that it is one of the nice point that everybody, includes elderly people and children, can participate her projects. For this thing, I felt stronger with her enthusiasm on promotion of Tokamachi. 

   I have two points to apply her ideas to our projects. First, it is important to involbe local people. To becoming close them, they will cooperete for our projects. So, I want to make our projects to have the perspective from local people. Second, I think that we have to concider the characteristics unique to the area. For example, tradition, food, view, and so on. To make use of these, I think that we make more people know good points that we focus on the region.

↑For example, my hometoun in Niigata is famous for rice, so I think that using it in a variety of ways is one of approach that I mantioned above.

 

  The most impressed me to hear her story is way of thinking about her work. She said that "If you work in the future, you choose the job which you can have your pride.". Also she said that "It's better you do something fun. Otherwise,spending time become waste.". These story makes me positive. Thanks for the story, my thinking of my life changed. I want to spread my view and try to do various things with out worries.
