[Unit Project2] Let’s make a salmon rice ball !
Introduction
Rice ball is Japanese fast food since ancient times. Even now, we often see people who eat it at the lunch time. We can enjoy a variety of flavors of rice balls to change the filling or types of rice such as five-grain rice. This time I will introduce how to make a "salmon rice ball". Salmon is popular fish in Japan, and it have a lot of nutrients. I would often bring salmon rice balls that my mother made for the lunch time when I was high school student. In addition, the recipe is very easy. So, let's enjoy cooking it and stay healthy!
You will need:
・One soup bowl
・One plastic wrap
・One rice scoop
・One chopstics
・One plate
・One spoon
Ingredients(serving one person):
・Cooked rice...110g
・Salmon fillet...Harf piece
・Grilled seaweed...8cm×15cm
・Solt...1g
Prosedures:
1. First, prepare the rice ball filling. Glill the salmon with fish glill using "Glilled on both sides mode "for 8 minutes.
2. Second, put on the glilled salmon on the plate and flake it using the chopstics.
3. Third, spread out the plastic wrap on the soup bowl.
4. Next, serve the cooked rice while spreading on the plastic wrap using the rice scoop.
5. Put the flaked salmon in the middle of rice.
6. Cover the flaked salmon with the cooked rice using the rice scoop.
7. Gather the plastic wrap's four edges into one while wrapiing the flaked salmon with rice.
8. Shape the rice into a triangle (don't crush the rice).
9. Sprinkle with salt to the rice ball's surface.
10. Wrap in the seaweed on the side of the rice ball.
11. Finally, serve the flaked salmon on the top using the spoon.
Conclusion
This time, I use the grilld seaweed because I easy to use. However, if you use a dried seaweed and grill by yourself, you can more feel the flavor of it. Also, I want to make it with mixed rice such as white sesame and wakame next time. And if you're good with your hands, it will fun to shape the rice ball into a star or heart because little children will be able to enjoy eating them.

I was impressed by the selection of Japanese cultural items. Easy to understand explanation! Looks delicious ‼︎
